(1) Processing of cooling water holes: Usually when processing cooling water holes, there is no strict requirement for the accuracy of the holes, mainly the processing speed. For example, when drilling 10mm holes on 50 steel (HRC15 ~ 18), the feed rate can be 60 ~ 70mm/min. When processing intersecting holes, in order to prevent the cutting oil from ejecting from the processed holes, the processed holes must be blocked with plugs in advance. In addition, the acceleration of machining intersecting holes should be appropriately reduced to prevent the drill bit from crossing this section. In order to prevent the chip stagnation at the intersection, the oil pressure should be 2-3 times higher than the normal state. If the diameter of the crossing hole is different, the small hole should be drilled first, and then the large hole should be drilled. To prevent the drill through, swing, affect the accuracy of the hole.
(2) Heating rod hole processing: The diameter accuracy of the heating rod hole is the key to the thermal efficiency of the heating rod. When processing the heating rod hole, the drill diameter should be 0.1 ~ 0.3mm larger than the heating rod diameter, which is conducive to improving thermal efficiency.
(3) Pipe jacking hole processing: according to the material, hardness, aperture, internal thickness of the pipe jacking fixture selection. Basically, it is processed from both ends or from one end, and the reaming part of the back of the pipe can be processed by twist drill, etc., and the fixture used is a V-shaped block or a specially designed set of workpiece rotation load. There are also deep hole drilling machines specially used for processing pipe jacking holes abroad.
